I Made Budi

Budi was born in 1932 in Batuan. Budi himself is a dancer in edition to being a carver and proponent of Batuan style of painting. His unique style combines themes from relogion and mithology with contemporary reality. He has exhibitied his work in Jakarta, Holland, Japan, Switzerland and Bali. Budi also held a one man show inHawaii in 1978 - 1979, and was represented in The East-West center's "Art of Bali" exhibition in Honolulu.
