I Wayan Asta

Asta born in 1954 in Ubud is an artist from the youngest generation who has an incredible eyes for light and shadow combine with small characteristic features. His typical traditional paintings show part of the stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata. Beside the classical stories Asta uses fauna life for his paintings. He is able to let the viewer join his paintings and make them part of it. But his painting now depict a modern theme.
